Donald Hugh "Don" Henley was born on July 22, 1947 in Gilmer, Texas, United States. He is best known as a founding member, drummer and co-lead vocalist of the Eagles, but had a successful solo career as well. Henley sang the lead vocals on Eagles hits such as "Best of My Love", "Desperado", "Hotel California", "One of These Nights" and "The Long Run".
